FiiO M27: flagship “desktop portable” DAP designed for home and mobile use
The FiiO M27 is the brand’s new flagship and takes the concept of a “desktop portable unit” to another level. It combines reference-grade hardware architecture with a design intended for use in the living room, on the desktop or on the go, delivering a balanced, highly detailed sound with bass authority and dynamics that very few DAPs on the market can match.
Thanks to the powerful Qualcomm QCS6490 SoC based on Snapdragon 778G, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory expandable via two microSD slots, the M27 runs smoothly even with multitasking and streaming apps, handling very large local libraries with ease. Its “hybrid DAP” design integrates 3.5, 4.4 and 6.35 mm outputs, coaxial and optical inputs/outputs, multiple USB ports and a patented desktop mode, allowing the M27 to become the central hub of any HiFi system.
Inside, the dual 8-channel ES9039SPRO DAC, the XMOS XU316 and the QCC5181 Bluetooth receiver with support for aptX Lossless, LDAC and LHDC ensure lossless playback up to 768 kHz / 32-bit and DSD512. The headphone amplification stage delivers up to 5000 mW + 5000 mW from the 4.4 mm balanced output with five gain levels and a 31-band PEQ, so you can precisely tailor the sound of any headphone or IEM. The huge 9200 mAh battery with 35 W fast charging, replaceable pack and advanced cooling system guarantees long listening sessions with stable performance, both in portable and desktop mode.
