REGA Solis Power Amplifier: Reference-grade power with absolute sonic purity
The Rega Solis is the new reference power amplifier from the British manufacturer, engineered to deliver absolute control over any loudspeaker and exceptional musicality. Designed to work in perfect synergy with the Rega Mercury preamplifier (and fully compatible with the Rega Aethos), the Solis uses a fully symmetrical circuit architecture and carefully selected audiophile-grade components to achieve precise, dynamic and distortion-free reproduction—even with the most demanding loads.
At its core are two custom low-noise 330 VA toroidal transformers, a high-current output stage featuring twelve 130 W Sanken transistors, and completely independent power supplies. Together, they provide enormous, stable current reserves. The result is remarkable output power: 168 W per channel into 8 Ω and 305 W per channel into 4 Ω, with outstanding clarity and transparency across the entire frequency spectrum.
Rega devoted four years of development to the Solis, optimising every detail—from PCB layout to the feedback topology—to deliver a holographic soundstage, exceptionally tight and controlled bass, and the natural, organic texture that defines the brand’s analogue heritage. Advanced protection systems, soft-start circuitry and intelligent power management are integrated without compromising the signal path.
The Solis is, quite simply, Rega’s most advanced power amplifier ever, a pure audiophile design created to elevate any high-performance system to a new level of refinement.
