Ortofon LH-10000: Reference High-End Headshell with TPE Damping, SME Connector & Adjustable Azimuth

The LH-10000 is an absolute reference headshell made from a high-performance aluminum–zinc alloy and featuring a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) damping element to reduce resonances. It is designed for top-tier cartridges such as the Ortofon MC A90, the Ortofon Cadenza Series, Ortofon MC Windfeld, Ortofon MC Jubilee and the Ortofon Kontrapunkt Series. It’s also an ideal partner for Ortofon’s Ortofon TA-110 and Ortofon TA-210 tonearms.

The LH-10000 represents the highest expression of Ortofon’s headshell know-how: a mechanically robust design (with an aluminum alloy offering very high practical stiffness) carefully damped with TPE to control vibration and resonance. Its ultra-high-grade internal wiring is chosen to preserve micro-detail, tonal balance and stereo separation. As with any headshell, knowing the exact dimensions makes correct mounting and alignment easier—especially in high-resolution, high-end setups.
