JMF Audio has always strived to offer the most efficient and at the same time easy to use products. The MBR1 makes it easy to control past, current and future JMF Audio products.

As everyone has experienced, wanting to control an audio or audio-video system often becomes a challenge: a multitude of remote controls, connection cables or control buses between devices, buttons that nobody knows what they are for, or too many small, etc.

With JMF Audio there is a single slim remote to control all your devices, with no additional wiring, elegant and uncomplicated.

The MBR1 remote control is the result of our research on ergonomics and intelligent operation.

MBR1 is made from a block of anodized aluminum. The edges, bottom and top are smooth for a great in-hand feel. The JMF Audio logo is engraved, while command prompts are clear for easy viewing. Our goal was to put as few buttons as possible and let the device software take care of the management for a more intuitive use. Great care was put into the keys so that they present a great tactile effect. The shape of the remote control is reminiscent of the fronts of electronic devices and the finish is identical to its chassis.

The MBR1 remote control has been designed to reflect the philosophy of JMF Audio well... when you hold it in your hand.

Technical characteristics:

Instant control of all JMF Audio devices, without multiplexing. For example: Do not press “preamp” before selecting a source.

Selection of analogue and digital sources: PRS1.5 and DXC2.2 MKII (+ hotkey for USB).

Easy switching on and standby of all JMF Audio devices (no connection cables between them).

Depending on the configuration (DAC solo or DAC with preamp), the source select and mute buttons have the appropriate effects. This is automatically set by the DAC state and no configurations are required.

Very ergonomic; ideal weight distribution in the hand and solid construction.

Wide support bases, mechanically fixed for a secure installation on the table (without traditional adhesives).

Modified Philips RC5 infrared protocol.

8 user selectable code sets to avoid possible interference with other brands.

JMF Audio components are fully handcrafted in our workshops and pass strict tests. Since revision B, each unit is tested for over 100 hours of listening in our studios, ensuring that its future owner will only receive the best.

At JMF Audio we dedicate hours of study to improve our electronics. We call these “Reviews” and list them alphabetically for each of our devices. All owners of JMF Audio products have the security of being able to access the different revisions of their devices. Avoiding obsolescence as much as possible, taking care of our clientele, is another form of savoir-faire at JMF Audio.
