The HT/1510 Predator active subwoofer set a new benchmark for bass and sub-bass reproduction in its category. Now, the Predator II brings enhanced performance across every key parameter: an internal 1,000-watt Class AB amplifier with linear power supply and PerfectFilter inputs designed specifically for A/V applications, a new 15-inch CarbonGlas cone transducer ” (381 mm) that handles substantially higher powers (40%), and an elegant and slim design never seen before in Home Theater subwoofers. All this is complemented by compatibility in systems made up of multiple REL subwoofers, which allows the Predator II to be combined with models from the British firm's T/x and S ranges. Thus, the speaker used retains the combination of fiberglass, Carbon fiber center cap and large voice coil, which allows for the fast, reactive and punchy bass that is the main hallmark of cinematic sound with capital letters. The Predator II also features massive improvements to the design and build quality of its cabinet, whose proportions are reminiscent of models in REL Acoustics' exclusive Reference range.
