The Edifier R1700BTs are the update of the usual R1700BT, but this time, with a subwoofer output.
It stands out for its total output power of 66W RMS driven by its class D amplifier system with DSP and DRC, as well as Bluetooth V5.0 integration with Qualcomm aptX HD.
The SUB OUT port is the great novelty to be able to add an external subwoofer and emphasize the low frequency response, which, together with its dual RCA inputs, give rise to super versatile speakers with devices such as the turntable, PC or smartphone.
In terms of design, these new R1700BTs maintain the look of their predecessors, with wood tones and black grille, which make them a delicious alternative for the eyes and ears.
