The unique HDAM circuit has been further optimized over its previous version by symmetrically placing the components on the audio board and creating a more direct signal path. This upgrade improves the sound stage of previous models.

The CD 60's power supply uses high-speed, high-current Shottky barrier diodes, storage capacitors with superior current-handling capabilities, and improved voltage regulators over previous models in its class. The use of oversized capacitors in the power supply improves current stability and reduces the noise level during highly demanding listening sessions.

Its headphone amplification circuit, based on the brand's HDAM-SA2, includes three gain settings for a perfect match with all types of headphones.
