The Japanese digital magazine HIFI Review has reviewed the Statement II cables, Tellurium Q's new reference cables.

Here are the highlights of the reviews:

Statement II speaker cable

“The Statement speaker cable is also neutral, with a wide gamut of timbre, and at the same time it has this “analogue flavour” which makes it feel very natural… this “fullness” is close to one-to-one. For example, the strings of a violin have a certain diameter… it still sounds like real violin strings not cello strings, the size of the cavity is the same, there is no distortion….even every detail has a certain weight, clarity and easy reception without losing dexterity and speed. 

The Statement [II] speaker cable still has these features but everything has been improved [compared to the old version of Statement] especially in terms of natural sense, density, and analytical power and the texture, dynamic contrast, sound reality etc are all comprehensive better than the previous generation."

Seems the reviewer was particularly impressed with the “restoration” of vocals and strings and mentions how real a cello sounded in the full review but here is just a snippet from the extensive review:

 “Statement II is a wider soundstage It is undeniable that this balanced line [XLR] restores the human voice accurately and in a timely manner… Statement II seems to have unearthed a deeper message in the music… the sound is detailed and natural, the sense of power is real and the timbre is transparent”.
