The LCD-2 is thoroughly designed for long-term comfort and beautiful sound. We are very attached to our planar transducers and our beautiful factory-made wood rings for grain and color. We use shedua wood from tropical West Africa. It is not on the watch list and is reported by the IUCN as a species of least concern. We also match the pads based on skin texture and color. You can choose lambskin or Microsuede headbands and earcups that are filled with carefully selected foam for best sound and contribute to the comfort level during long listening sessions. Connect the LCD-2 with a quality headphone amp or integrated amp for the best sound.
