An extraordinarily complete product that combines an audiophile grade CD player, DAC and preamp to offer a highly flexible solution in very high quality sound. To all of this, and in keeping with Audiolab's proven purist vocation, the 8300CDQ is a dedicated headphone amplifier with direct coupling and current feedback topology whose high bandwidth and exceptional “slew rate” ensure a dynamic, detailed and captivating with all kinds of headphones. The 8300CDQ also stands out especially for incorporating the increasingly popular MQA (Master Quality Aunthenticated) audio encoding, a digital audio format conceived for streaming music in high resolution currently used by popular online music services such as TIDAL. The 8300CDQ "unpacks" the MQA data - which is received by its USB input - using a proprietary decoding solution signed by the renowned British expert John Westlake to restore it to the full resolution of the original file and then send the corresponding signal to the DAC and preamp stages of the device. The 8300CDQ also features DAC functionality based on one of ESS Technology's sophisticated ES9018 Sabre32 Reference D / A conversion “chips”. A "chip" equipped with the exclusive 32-bit HyperStream architecture and the American firm's Time Domain Jitter Eliminator scheme to minimize background noise and maximize dynamic range. To this must be added a high-precision slot-loading DC transport mechanism, a highly sophisticated power supply with 29 regulated lines and analog output stages configured in Class A.
