The interior of the chamber is a handcrafted piece of maple encased in a smoked chrome metal finish that achieves the elegant styling of the Grado Labs Professional Series. A wider leather headband ensures greater comfort on longer listens. Both are exclusive enhancements to the GRADO PS2000e model.
The unique acoustic signature of maple, used for the first time in the limited edition GRADO GH1 headphones, offers the optimal response. Cladding wood with metal allows you to eliminate unwanted noise and distortion. The PS2000e use a new driver design that also minimizes signal coloration to reveal every detail in the music.
To make their most sophisticated headphones to date, Grado has pulled out all the stops. From the speaker chassis, to the cable, voice coil and magnets. At GRADO they have researched and selected the highest quality materials. The geometry of the diaphragm has been designed for a more accurate signal-to-sound conversion. Developing the front cover and the grill of the new driver has made it possible to reduce the diffractions of the diaphragm. All this, mounted on a hybrid chassis proprietary to GRADO, which gives the driver full support and eliminates distortion and resonance, allowing the nature of the signal to flow.
