Description
Specifically built to meet the demands of advanced users eager to set up very high-performance surround sound systems that incorporate the latest in multidimensional sound -Dolby Atmos, Audo-3D and DTS: X. The Chorus 4200 is a four channel power stage that benefits from Krell's latest advances in amplification of uncompromising audio signals. Equipped with the same circuitry and the same technological refinements as its five- and seven-channel sisters, ie the Chorus 5200 and Chorus 7200 models respectively, the Chorus 4200 is an ideal tool to excite the "ceiling" speakers associated with the new Multidimensional surround sound, but also for bi-amplifying the speakers of stereo equipment. It is based on the revolutionary iBias concept, an extremely innovative amplification technology that combines Class A sound sweetness with substantially lower power consumption than electronics based on its traditional version. Exclusive to Krell, the key to iBias technology is that it eliminates crossover distortion by getting the low-level details, timeless subtleties and spatiality of the music played exactly like on a Class A-configured amplifier at Traditional way. In addition to its inherently higher energy efficiency, it includes thermostatically controlled low noise fans, plus practical internet connectivity that allows the dealer / installer to monitor the operating status of each unit (as if it were a personal computer, A tablet or a mobile phone), in order to keep it in perfect condition, update it or even detect / correct possible faults.
