The Double Sync Clock and a filter circuit, executed with discrete components and equipped with the renowned HDAM preamp modules, make the sound quality impressive with both conventional and high-resolution recordings. A high-performance, high-sounding SABER-grade D / A converter with 32-bit / 384 kHz processing capability makes it easy to reproduce even the most subtle details. To round it all off, the HD-AMP1 includes Marantz's exclusive "Musical Digital Filtering" (MMDF), inspired by audiophile-level technologies. Two selectable digital filtering curves make it easy to adapt to different musical tastes, handling each one of them even the most detailed, taking special care of the digital audio signal and transforming the new multimedia files into the best reproduction in high resolution possible. On the other hand, the HD-AMP1 is the first component of High Fidelity never created by Marantz that incorporates a switched amplifier. Another important aspect of the HD-AMP1 is its generous connectivity, with coaxial and optical digital inputs, as well as a USB-B port so the user can send music directly from a PC or Mac, as well as connect other digital sources.
