With an elegant and sophisticated look, the Marantz NR1506 A / V receiver houses a five-channel amplifier with a power output of 85 W per channel that allows you to provide powerful sound combining with respect for the finest details. Thanks to its built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality, the NR1506 can access a number of virtually unlimited music sources, for example via Internet Radio, Spotify Connect and AirPlay. You can also play music files stored on a PC or an external storage unit thanks to its compatibility with the standard for "streaming" from DLNA networks. This allows you to play almost any audio file, including FLAC HD, ALAC, WAC192 / 24 and DSD high-resolution formats, while the front-panel iPod-compatible USB digital input rounds out your powerful connectivity options. As for the video section, it should be noted that it is fully compatible with very high resolution 4K / Ultra HD signals as well as the more advanced version of the HDMI interconnect format, which allows you to route 4K signals to 50 / 60 Hz, while HDCP 2.2 approval ensures perfect playback of 4K content with copy protection. The NR1506 also supports HDR ("High Dynamic Range") and "Wide Color Gamut" concepts, key components of the 4K / Ultra HD BT.2020 video specification. It has 5 HDMI inputs, including one strategically located on the front panel, all compatible with HDCP 2.2. The configuration of the NR1506 is very easy thanks to the help of the Hybrid Graphical User Interface (GUI), the Configuration Assistant and the famous Audyssey MultEQ room calibration, while the Marantz Remote App, available for iOS devices and Android, makes normal operation of the device a child's play.
