Le Player 3 is capable of extracting the maximum detail from any recording by upsampling CDs to DSD128 at 44.1kHz, while frequencies above 192kHz are sent to the HDMI I2S output. This is because there is no built-in DAC to take full advantage of the high-quality sound reproduction that CDs offer.
