Description
Elegant and clear in its presentation, as a natural complement to the PRE60 preamplifier, the Primare A60 is a stereo power stage with a one hundred percent balanced architecture based on UFPD (Ultra Fast Power Device) Of Primare delivering 250 continuous watts per channel over 8 ohms. The interior of this superb electronics houses four separate UFPD amplifiers (two per channel) mounted in a fully balanced configuration. Each channel incorporates balanced and unbalanced inputs, as well as WBT Nextgen speaker connection terminals, trip signal jacks and an RS-232 control input. The Primare A60 is particularly notable for its powerful (2,600 VA peak) switchgear and highly regulated power supply, as well as a four-layer printed circuit board with custom-built heat sinks, 1% tolerance MELF resistors, Minimized signal, cable van den Hul SCS12 for connection to optimized case connection terminals and ground return lines. Also, the A60 has an elaborate electronic protection to guarantee its reliability in extreme conditions.
