The Pro-Ject VTE is an original turntable available in two versions depending on the tonearm location: the VTE-r (right-hand tonearm) and the VTE-l (left-hand tonearm). In this way, the user has total flexibility both in terms of aesthetics and functionality in a very wide range of spaces. An elegant triangular-shaped plinth and anti-resonant construction constitutes the letter of introduction of a set in which we also find usual technological elements in Pro-Ject, in the case of a specially treated MDF plate weighing almost 1 kilo, a turning system equipped with a stainless steel bearing and 8.6-inch aluminum tonearm designed and built by Pro-Ject. As is also the norm in the brand's turntables, the drive is by belt, being the drive motor located in one of the vertices of the plinth. As a consequence of its particular configuration, the VTE is supplied as standard with optimized adjustments for the support force and anti-skating (or anti-slip), while its entire structure has been conceived -disc fixator included- to facilitate the perfect tracking of the groove of vinyl records in a vertical position. Available in three finishes (matte black, matte red, and matte white) and with factory-fitted patch cords terminated with gold-plated RCA plugs, the Pro-Ject VTE is complete with a factory-fitted OM5e pickup cartridge that converts it into a very high quality genuine “Plug & Play” analog source.
