Quad DAC and Fully Balanced Circuitry
At the heart of the M9 Plus lies AKM’s new flagship DAC system, combining four AK4499EX chips with a pair of AK4191 Delta/Sigma modulators.
Thanks to its fully balanced Quad DAC architecture, it delivers ultra-precise digital-to-analog conversion, with a level of detail and musicality that rivals top-tier desktop systems.
Its power supply, featuring three independent XC9519 converters, ensures maximum stability for both DAC and headphone circuits, creating a noise-free environment free from interference.
High-Level Amplification
The balanced 4-channel amplifier section employs Shanling’s optimized OP+BUF topology, achieving a clean, dynamic, and distortion-free performance.
For demanding headphones, Turbo Gain mode boosts output to 520 mW @ 32Ω SE and 1125 mW @ 32Ω balanced, driving even high-impedance studio models with authority.
The custom-developed I/V stage uses ADA45253 op-amps for high speed and low noise, paired with Japanese ELNA Silmic II audiophile capacitors, delivering refined musicality with deep bass and natural treble.
