AUDIOTECHNICA AT33EV. Double movable coil capsule.

The original model of this stereophonic capsule is the AT33NV, which was available as a special edition to celebrate our 45th anniversary. The AT33ANV was the first capsule of the AN33 series equipped with a duralumin cantilever and was high praise for its sound quality. Preserving the technical characteristics of the base model, we have developed an improved and evolved version of it.

The A33EV is a standard mount 1/2 ”capsule with an elliptical needle of 0'3x0'7 mm that includes a Duralumin cantilever that allows you to reduce the effective mass of the whole, being the result a more durable cantilever. Dual Coil Design

Mobile capsule allows to increase channel spacing and extends curve frequency response to provide extraordinary sound quality. On the interior highlights the presence of a neodymium magnet that improves the concentration of magnetic energy, as well as PCOCC windings (highest purity copper obtained with a highly advanced process) on the coils to maximize signal purity.
