Specific model for 78 RPM records, whose rounded needle has a greater radius of curvature at the tip. The bend radius is 3 mil, and it is suitable for playing 78 RPM records of various eras.
Instead of using a single large magnet, the two magnets are arranged in a "V" shape. The two magnets are precisely positioned to match the left and right channel positions on the walls of the stereo groove. Consequently, the VM design ensures amazing channel spacing, wider frequency response, and excellent tracking.
Para-toroidal generator system
Para-toroidal coils improve generating efficiency and offer excellent linearity, because the loss of magnetic flux in the continuous magnetic circuit used is low. The permeability of the cores has also been optimized through the use of laminated cores.
Monkey body
For monaural operation, the left and right channels must be connected. A mono body with the left and right terminals internally connected reduces record noise that occurs mainly in the vertical direction, resulting in a highly focused 'center' sound image compared to stereo bodies.
