The AT-LP5 direct-turntable features state-of-the-art technology and an elegant, up-to-date design that looks as appealing as its sound. Born from Audio-Technica's analogue heritage, the AT-LP5 incorporates a J-shaped reading arm inspired by the classic AT models of the 60s and 70s. The reading arm features a suspension system Metal gimbal and precision bearings to mitigate tracking errors, including an adjustable counterweight and anti-skid control. It comes equipped with a lightweight AT-HS10 (10 g) head and a high-performance AT95EX Dual Moving Magnet stereo, specially created for this turntable.

Made with damping and anti-vibration materials with inserts in heavy metal chassis, the AT-LP5 model is a true leader in reducing acoustic feedback (couplings) at low frequencies. Its machined cast aluminum plate is powered by a high torque direct drive motor, which ensures a rotation on the shaft, stable at 33-1 / 3 or 45 rpm. The plate is complemented by a 5 mm rubber cushion mat that improves bass reproduction.

The AT-LP5 has a switchable preamplifier (phone / line) that allows you to connect it directly to a computer, stereo, powered speakers and other components that do not have a dedicated turntable input. The turntable is also equipped with a USB output for direct connection to a computer and comes with Audacity® software, compatible with PC and Mac, that allows you to convert your discs to MP3, WAV format or other formats of digital audio files.
