JMF Audio has already proposed the CM4 interconnect cable, so the owners of the brand's devices expected an extraordinary speaker cable. As explained in the “History of the brand”, the type and purity of the materials and their associations for the neutrality of sound, was the second point of investigation of Jean-Marie Fusilier, back in the 80s. At that time its main activities were in high-frequency electronics, an area in which engineers pay special attention to materials and shielding for the proper propagation of signals, that is, preserving their integrity. The SR4 speaker cable was the first model of this new generation, then the SR8 became the reference,

The original SR4 received praise from JMF Audio component owners for the openness and clarity of the musical performance it provided. The subsequent SR4 and SR8 models have elevated listening pleasure for many different installations.

The SR4 and SR8 are handcrafted by JMF Audio. The conductors are made of high purity long crystals. Starting with the SR4-C and SR8 models, the construction is completely symmetrical as valued in JMF Audio designs. The assembly of a cable requires a very precise arrangement of conductors and shields to obtain an optimal sound result. The manufacturing process is long. The latest SR4-C and SR8-C models benefit from a new EHF shield (patented), with an additional link referenced to the chassis, further improving immunity against electromagnetic interference and electrostatic charges responsible for sound blur.

The SR4-C and SR8-C are distinguished by a silky and natural sound, respectful and homogeneous, with a precise adjustment of the timbres and an exceptional coherence of the sound planes (three-dimensional performance). The instruments of an orchestra appear in their actual location, letting the listener feel the space between the musicians.

SR4 and SR8 cables have been the link of choice between different amplifiers and speakers for many music lovers, enthusiasts, or professionals. They also allow a paired connection between the HQS amplifiers and the HPM loudspeakers, especially with the LSS terminals at both ends specific for JMF Audio: 6 mm Ø, lossless (PGP bathed), and a rated current withstanding 120 A.

Since the 2016 version C of the SR4 and SR8, each cable is identified by a serial number and the corresponding manufacturing and measurement notes are recorded on file with JMF Audio. Before delivery, each cable goes through a filming phase and a listening test in our studios, verifying it with our references.
