Cayin N7, la excelencia de Cayin
The Cayin N7 leads the brand's new range of Hi-Res players with updated innovations for audio enthusiasts. In its analog section, there is a wide variety of inputs and outputs, including a 4.4mm balanced connection for both headphones and line. Thanks to its 1-Bit technology to decode DSD512 and its class A/AB amplification stage, it allows you to obtain maximum performance in a device of its characteristics.
In its most technological aspect, the integration of the Snapdragon 665 and Android 12 stands out, which makes it possible to install streaming applications. Discover the news from Cayin!
Fully balanced design
Being discreet is more technically challenging, but provides more room to adjust the sound signature for superior performance. In the Cayin N7, the conventional stereo circuit is composed of left (L) and right (R) channels, while the balanced circuit incorporates differential inputs and outputs, requiring L+, L-, R+, R.
For the first time, Cayin implements a discrete circuit for DAC, LPF and headphone amplifier in a DAP. It adopts a double-sided symmetrical PCB design for the N7, minimizing interference and maintaining uniformity in the signal path.
Pureza del DAC 1-Bit DSD
The Cayin N7 integrates a specially designed 1-bit DAC, with a DAC circuit composed of 128 high-precision units. Additionally, it features FPGA for digital audio signal and output enhancement, as well as an audio bridge for unaltered DSD transfer, ensuring accurate conversion from PCM to 1-bit bitstream before transmitting to the DAC circuit. The sophisticated power supply with low noise and highly isolated supply circuitry supports various digital and analog processing functions separately.
LPF Discreet
After several attempts, Cayin develops a Class A symmetrical push-pull amplification circuit based on dual NPN+PNP bipolar transistors, offering high performance in a small space and low power consumption/heat dissipation.
Amplification without compromises
The N7 includes a 4-channel circuit with low-noise JFET (Junction Field Effect Transistor) for discrete components. Furthermore, it is specially optimized for low impedance IEMs and portable headphones.
The refined resistor system enables satisfactory decoding, while the low-phase-noise femtosecond crystal oscillators minimize digital artifact, improving the musicality and naturalness of digital audio playback. Class A and Class AB modes can be swapped to customize the sound signature based on individual preferences and headphone types.
The perfect portable fountain
This new Hi-Res player from Cayin has balanced and unbalanced outputs of 4.4mm and 3.5mm respectively. The line output and the previous one are managed independently, ensuring optimal adaptation to various applications.
Clean, unamplified line output
The line output provides a fixed voltage level without volume control, ideal as a high-quality source for headphone amplifiers and home audio systems.
On the other hand, the pre-out offers a variable voltage level with analog precision and volume control, serving as a high-quality preamplifier for power amplifiers.
Professional precision
The Cayin N7 integrates a low-distortion, low-noise electronic analog volume control, providing greater precision and lower power consumption than conventional systems. Brass volume knob offers precise control and elegant presentation.
MQA support
The N7 now supports MQA audio files, allowing up to 16x decoding, for studio-quality playback.
Distinctive Bluetooth Hi-Res
The Cayin N7 supports various Bluetooth 5.0 audio codecs, including LDAC, UAT, AAC and SBC, providing flexibility in both receiver mode and transmitter mode.
Customization for a unique musical experience
With a 64-bit Snapdragon 665, 4GB of RAM and a high-performance FPGA, the Cayin N7 offers a powerful platform for a personalized listening experience. Its custom Android 12 allows the installation of third-party apps, while the DTA feature allows local playback without SRC.
As for storage, the Hi-Res player offers 64GB internal and support for microSD cards up to 1TB.
Mobile control
Thanks to HiByCast, the N7 can be controlled from a mobile device, allowing remote access to all functions and settings.
Long duration battery
The 9000mAH lithium battery with optimized power management offers up to 10 hours of continuous playback with 3.5mm headphones and up to 8.5 hours with 4.4mm balanced headphones.
Practicality and craftsmanship
CNC precision machined 6063 aluminum housing provides corrosion resistance and exceptional tactile feel. The physical buttons are designed for easy one-handed operation.
The 5" FHD TFT screen offers clear and efficient viewing, enabling multi-point touch operation for an intuitive user experience.
