PMC-07EX: RAISING THE STANDARD OF SOUND QUALITY WITH AN EXCEPTIONAL MASTER CLOCK
In the world of digital audio equipment such as network players, D/A converters and CD players, sound quality depends heavily on the internal clock that generates the signal. The PMC-07EX, our innovative product, redefines sound quality by providing a high-performance master clock that far exceeds the quality of the internal clock in these devices, resulting in a dramatic improvement in audio quality.
EXCELLENCE IN PHASE NOISE REDUCTION
The PMC-07EX uses an extremely low phase noise OCXO (Crystal Oven Controlled Oscillator), achieving near phase noise levels as low as -105 dBc/Hz at 1 Hz. In audio, it is not only about accuracy, but also about noise characteristics. Particularly important is the phase noise near the oscillation frequency, where oscillator performance is directly related to sound quality. Our exceptionally large and high-quality PMC-07EX clock oscillator offers phase noise characteristics comparable to those of high-performance rubidium oscillators.
WIDE-RANGE POWER SUPPLY
The clock is equipped with a discrete and generous analogue power supply using a high-capacity toroidal transformer and an ultra-high-speed, low-noise Schottky SiC diode. This ensures maximum transmitter performance and reliable power delivery.
RUGGED DESIGN
We have designed a rugged housing that eliminates unnecessary vibrations and reduces external noise. The housing features a 15 mm thick solid aluminium front panel carved from an aluminium block and a 3 mm thick aluminium body. In addition, the oscillator of the watch is designed in such a way that it floats inside the housing, preventing the transmission of unwanted vibrations.
HIGH-QUALITY INTERNAL WIRING AND PRECISE OUTPUT CONNECTIONS
In collaboration with Sekiguchi Machinery Sales Co. (Acoustic Revive), we have used high-quality, single-wire internal wiring, PC-triple C, to ensure the purity of the power supply and signal. A meticulous wiring method has been employed that avoids the use of connectors wherever possible, ensuring signal integrity.
In short, the PMC-07EX raises the standard for sound quality in digital audio devices by delivering an exceptional master clock, reducing phase noise, providing a powerful power supply and featuring a rugged, vibration-resistant construction, all designed to take the listening experience to the next level.
