In 2011, HIFIMAN launched the groundbreaking HM801 portable digital audio player, which was acclaimed by the press and audiophile community for its exceptional sound quality.
Now, thirteen years later, HIFIMAN is pleased to introduce the HM800 DAC/headphone amplifier, which inherits the same R2R DAC NOS architecture as the HM801, but in a portable device that is just two percent of the original size.
Although compact, the HM800 is powerful and revolutionary. Unlike most portable amplifiers/DACs, this device is part of the headphone itself, weighing just 9 grams, equivalent to the weight of two sugar cubes.
The HM800's balanced Class AB amplifier surpasses the performance of Class D amplifiers typically found in portable products, guaranteeing exceptional sound quality.
The HM800 comes with three well-constructed high-quality cables, making it compatible with a wide range of conventional headphones, making it a versatile choice for any user.
