We call it a "system" because several elements contribute to the final result: materials are as important as design and theory.
Indeed, laboratory tests confirm that our vibration control system is highly effective.
A large mass is needed to minimize vibration to the maximum, like a huge stone, although unfortunately it is not practical for our purpose. However, some types of rock still maintain their damping characteristics, even when crushed into small grains and bound with specific synthetic resins. In this way, a large amount of air is trapped in the grains, therefore, the vibrations absorbed by the solid matter, the stone grains and the resin, act as damping through the surrounding air.
