OREA Series: Eliminates parasitic vibrations and provides greater clarity and focus of sound. OREA's are ideal for electronic components including amplifiers, DACs, CD players, speakers and turntables. Manufactured from machined stainless steel, these isolators have a low-profile design to minimise any height increase.
Each OREA model is designed with a different weight capacity. Each has a coloured ring on the bottom insulator indicating the model and weight capacity. The OREA series is individually packaged to allow greater flexibility in determining the number of units to be used. We recommend a minimum of 3 units under each component, depending on weight.
Enhanced sound clarity.
The top flange of the OREA is designed to provide a suction cup effect and adhere to the underside of the component, while the bottom flange adheres to the supporting surface. All energy is managed within the core of the OREAs, which are tuned to operate within specific weight ranges. This results in greater clarity of sound and a more open soundstage that provides an authentic three-dimensional sound.
Works with or without feet.
Existing feet on an audio component can connect well and fit snugly around the perimeter of the OREA isolator. Alternatively, you can get better performance by removing the feet altogether or by placing the OREAs next to the existing feet so that they connect directly to the chassis or base of the component.
The OREAs are designed to be used in multiples to match the weight of the component or loudspeaker. The total weight capacity is calculated as follows:
Total weight capacity = [weight limit. per isolator] x [Qty of Isolators].
It is common to use 3 or 4 OREA isolators for each component or loudspeaker, but keep in mind that the most important thing is to stay within the weight capacity of the OREA isolator.
The weight distribution of the component can also be taken into account. If, for example, the component is heavier at the rear, then it is common to use 3 isolators with 2 placed at the rear corners and 1 placed at the front/centre.
