A true all-rounder, the Diamond 12.1 is a traditional bookshelf (stand-mounted) loudspeaker that embodies the history and passion for performance of the Wharfedale Diamond Series. As the benchmark in affordable Hi-Fi loudspeakers, the Diamond 12.1 offers the best of all possible worlds, combining compact size with power and micro-information analysis capabilities. On the other hand, its acoustic design allows it to perform splendidly in highly immersive home theater systems, regardless of the size of the room in which it is to be installed. The Diamond 12.1 uses a 2-way bass-reflex setup combining a Wharfedale exclusive 130mm diameter high-performance Klarity midwoofer and a 25mm interlocking polyester fiber dome tweeter. The Diamond 12.1 is completed with a crossover filter executed with audiophile grade components and an elegant cabinet that combines multi-layer wood panels with the brand's innovative “Sport Bracing” internal bracing system, precisely modeled by computer simulation. to minimize the transmission of resonances.
