Pioneer SX-10AE, classic stereo receiver with bluetooth

Sometimes we don't need an endless list of functions, a good stereo amplifier with few controls, but enough connections is enough. The SX-10AE has all these features and, in addition to four Line inputs, a Tape output and the radio, it also integrates a Bluetooth receiver into its classic hi-fi design. In this way, you can easily send your favorite songs and the sound of any application from your smartphone or tablet to the computer.

Both the speakers that offer the A / B circuit, which allows you to connect and select pairs of independent speakers on terminals with solid screws, as well as the headphone port and even a subwoofer output are responsible for further increasing flexibility.

If you don't have a subwoofer, the SX-10AE can counteract this with a tuned sound thanks to its “Ultra Heavy Bass” sound setting. With the Source Direct function and two powerful 100W amplifiers, the SX-10AE with remote control also allows you to fully enjoy the most classic way, with two high-quality speakers.

Polyglass technology, exclusive to Focal, consists of applying fine glass microbeads on a cellulose pulp cone.

This procedure makes it possible to reconcile the excellent damping of the paper with the rigidity of the glass. Adjusting the mass-stiffness-damping ratio results in a remarkable linearity of the frequency response curve. Likewise, the definition in the media registry increases significantly.

A sweet and precise sound

The TNV2 tweeter adopts a suspension structure in Poron, directly derived from the speakers of the Utopia line.

The very light and shape memory material used avoids sinking and degradation over time, reducing distortion and improving the linearity of the frequency curve.
