PYLON AUDIO JASPER MONITOR
The Jasper Monitor 18 cabinet from Pylon Audio is the representative stand or shelf model of the Jasper line. Like its older brothers, it preserves an advanced and mature sound, presenting it in a pleasant and effective way at the same time.
Specially selected in terms of technical parameters and sound consistency, the transducers come from Denmark's Scan-Speak. The 18cm Revelator is responsible for the reproduction of low and mid tones, recognizable thanks to its single-cut diaphragm. This procedure has been done to reduce distortion and so-called "cone modes" that result in unprecedented control and elasticity of bass, with expression and well-defined vocals. The upper part of the band is entrusted to the tweeter, which uses one of the lightest vibration systems: a dome weighing only 0.18 g easily reproduces all the smallest nuances and details of the recordings.
The effect of these solutions is a precise, colorful and faithful sound character.
The components have been enclosed in a solid structure that shows an original shape with curved planes to avoid the formation of vertical waves in the casing, together with the proper slope of the front. An additional task of the body is to align the acoustic centers of the speakers, resulting in consistency of presentation and scene.
The Jasper Monitor 18 are understated yet mature cabinets with amazing musicality and scale, in an innovative and sophisticated shape.
The boxes are dedicated for rooms from 15 to 32 m².
