Opal 20: Built as a development of the Opal line with large 2-way speakers.
The Opal 20 speaker set is a two-way design, based on our own woofer (Pylon Audio PSW 18.8 CS), which is characterized by very good measurable parameters. The paper cone that has been used in this speaker offers a selective sound with a dose of warmth. The top of the band was taken care of by a 25mm silk dome tweeter, which thanks to its compact size allows the acoustic centers of the speaker system to be closer together.
The Opal 20 speakers, similar to the larger model, Opal 23, offer above-average midrange readability. It's a set you can use successfully in your home recording studio, and the set is put together in a way that doesn't get technical. Hours of listening to all kinds of music are pure pleasure. The equipment allows comfortable listening from a small distance, the soundstage is suggestive, and the separation of the sound from the equipment does not cause any problems for the speakers. The sound is saturated with well-controlled bass, giving the songs compactness and speed. Overall readability and recording comprehension are a strong point of the Opal series.
The 18mm body with case back has been combined with a 22mm thickened front, designed to reduce front wall vibrations. An additional element that is stiffening the entire structure is the reinforcement placed in a sensitive place.
The speakers are dedicated to rooms of 15-25 m2.
