The Monitor Audio CLG-W12 is a high-performance outdoor passive subwoofer designed to be buried underground, delivering deep and accurate bass in gardens, patios, or terraces. It features a high-excursion 12" (305 mm) C-CAM® woofer housed in a sealed, weather-resistant bandpass enclosure made from durable injection-molded polymer.
Its clever in-ground design allows the subwoofer to be completely concealed, leaving only a discreet air vent dome visible at surface level, which functions as an acoustic port to reinforce low-frequency output. This setup provides powerful and natural bass performance, making it an ideal complement to CLG140 or CLG160 satellite speakers for a full-range outdoor audio system covering from 30 Hz to 30 kHz.
The CLG-W12 supports both 4-ohm passive wiring and 70/100 V line operation, making it easy to scale across larger areas without compromising aesthetics. For non-buried setups, it can also be installed inside a decorative planter for use on terraces, paved areas, or patios.
