Monitor Audio CP-CT2L: Large In-Ceiling Speaker with Sealed Back Box
The Monitor Audio CP-CT2L is a large-format in-ceiling speaker from the Creator Series Level 2, engineered to deliver high-fidelity sound with consistent performance in any installation. Unlike open-back models, the CP-CT2L belongs to the Controlled Performance (CP) range, featuring a fully sealed back box that optimizes driver loading, minimizes coloration, and ensures uniform acoustic quality regardless of ceiling or wall construction.
It combines a 229 mm (9") RST II mid/bass driver for deep, controlled lows and clear mids with a 32 mm (1.25") C-CAM® Gold Dome tweeter mounted on a UD II waveguide, delivering natural, detailed highs with wide dispersion. The sealed enclosure also enhances midrange and bass response while providing superior acoustic isolation, reducing rear sound leakage by up to 30 dB.
The CP-CT2L integrates Creator Series innovations, including the magnetic Quik-Link™ connector for simplified cabling and the robust Tri-Grip II™ fixing system. For seamless integration, it supports both round and square grille options.
