The RP-5 v2's phono stage is a direct derivative of Rogue Audio's acclaimed Triton II phono preamp. The upgraded phono circuitry in the RP-5 v2 features quieter, superior sonic quality and higher gain than its predecessor. Its four adjustable gain levels, ranging from 43 dB to 65 dB, allow for optimum adaptability to virtually any type of cartridge. Additionally, the multiple loading options available ensure that your favourite cartridge can be precisely tuned to achieve its best sonic performance.

Additional features include bypass for integration with home theatre systems, a processor loop and a mono function. The ten-button remote control provides convenient access from your listening position to volume, balance, source selection, mute, mono and on/off functions.

The RP-5 v2's display has been upgraded to offer an easy-to-read OLED interface, which can even be turned off, featuring improved contrast. In soft shades of blue, this display provides volume, balance and source information in large, legible characters.
