From its Saint-Étienne workshops, Focal has been innovating, creating and reinventing the laws of Hi-Fi for 40 years in its search for the perfect answer to the listening demands of its clients. As part of this constant renewal process, the brand presents a proud successor to its Chorus line with the launch of Chora. The engineers may have had the same goal in mind when conceiving the project, namely to offer affordable, high-quality products, but the results are on another level.

In addition to a unique design perfected by three new finishes, the Chora speakers' mid-range and low-end speaker drivers are made from a completely new cone, offering instant sound appeal and visual appeal.

SLATEFIBER: THE NEW FOCAL CONE.

Slatefiber is a unique new speaker material designed and manufactured by Focal in France. Behind its sleek slate-effect look lies impressive speaker cone performance, the result of a number of technical innovations. Focal has introduced new materials: thermoplastic polymer, with non-woven recycled carbon fibers that achieve even greater damping, stiffness and lightness, essential elements for a good speaker driver.

With this unique and innovative cone, the sound reproduction of the mid frequencies is perfectly balanced and rich, with minimal coloration and lots of dynamics. The soundstage is extraordinary, for a true high-fidelity listening experience in your own home.
