2.5-way floorstanding speakers. The Rega RX-FIVE loudspeaker system offers balance, detail and dynamics thanks to Rega's hand-designed and hand-built three-speaker and filter assembly. The newly developed DX-125 mid-bass speaker with a paper-jacketed cone is at the heart of the RX range and combines perfectly with the Rega ZRR tweeter and RR7.8 woofer.

The Rega RX-FIVE loudspeaker system delivers balance, detail and dynamics thanks to Rega's hand-designed and hand-built three-speaker and filter assembly. The newly developed DX-125 mid-bass speaker with a paper-jacketed cone is at the heart of the RX range and is perfectly matched with the Rega ZRR tweeter and RR7.8 woofer. These custom cones are mounted on a newly designed chassis made of 18mm MDF and covered with a beautiful natural wood veneer in a choice of three finishes. The RX-FIVE will integrate seamlessly into any system and deliver exceptional performance and incredibly smooth bass response.

The RX-FIVE is a mid-sized floorstanding speaker with a side bass cone. You can adjust the imaging and bass response by changing the distance from the speaker to the rear and side walls. As with all loudspeakers, this will depend on the size of the room, floor and furniture, so you will need to do several tests with different distances to optimise the performance in your environment. If the bass booms too much, you can position the speakers, with the side woofer, inwards to suppress any unwanted bass response.
