Pair of Mundorf Mconnect 6mm terminals. Developed to meet the highest demands, Mundorf offers these models made of oxygen-free copper, plated with 24 carat gold. The copper terminals are turned from one piece of OFC copper. The advantage of copper over brass, which is commonly used for reasons of cost and ease of machining, lies in its atomic structure: brass has a resonance frequency of 22khz, which is very close to the audible zone and can be perceived as an unpleasant metallic sound. Copper terminals are much more difficult to produce, do not have this resonance and sound much more pleasant and natural.
