The newly launched WBT-0708 nextgen™ terminal block stands out for its ability to preserve valuable non-ferrous metal resources while optimising signal and sound conduction. However, its excellence lies not only in this aspect, but also in its superior performance compared to its predecessors.

With this new terminal block, WBT has succeeded in incorporating nextgen™ standard technology at a highly competitive price. From its conception, this model adheres to nextgen™ standards, ensuring accurate signal transfer and an authentic sound experience.

The signal conductor of the WBT-0708 nextgen™ terminal block has been designed with a pure copper metallic mass, minimising it to conserve resources and eliminate the sound quality losses associated with larger metallic masses. In addition, its innovative geometry effectively prevents eddy currents, which can distort the signal. These currents, known as eddy currents, cause non-linear distortions and are irremediable.

But the innovations do not stop there. The shape of the signal conductor has been optimised by complex tests and calculations, which makes the nextgen™ terminal block highly resistant to micro-vibrations that can affect the quality of the transmitted sound.

In addition, these terminals incorporate a force indicator that emits an acoustic signal when adequate pressure is applied to the connector blades. It is important to note that maximum contact pressure does not always guarantee optimum signal transfer, as excessive pressure can damage the contact surfaces.

In terms of robustness, nextgen™ terminal blocks not only rival classic metal models, but far surpass them.

Importantly, the intelligent design of the signal conductor allows a secure connection with various types of cables and plugs, both for external and internal connections. Furthermore, the use of the impact sound switch WBT-0718 is recommended for optimal mounting.
