In terms of engineering, it is worth noting first and foremost the incorporation of the US company's revolutionary Advanced Metamaterial Tuning System (AMTS), used for the first time in the elite Stealth, Expanse and Corina models. This system integrates waveguides, diffusion control, quarter-wave and Helmholtz resonators to eliminate standing waves, resulting in significantly improved sound characteristics. The second key component of the E3 headphones is Dan Clark Audio's iconic V-Planar transducer, now in its fifth generation, which features a new tensioning system. The third technical innovation of note is the Dual-Mode Bass Port, a unique solution that incorporates ports in closed headphones, with the aim of maximising bass control and achieving an extraordinarily balanced sound in the low end of the spectrum, where punch and impact are presented authentically, without distortion or mid-range influences.
