The Ether 2 are next-generation circumaural headphones with open helmets at the rear that, thanks to the profound improvements it brings with respect to its predecessor, the reputed Ether, has become the new flagship of the “planar” headphones from MrSpeakers. Specifically, the Ether 2 incorporates a new transducer, a new magnetic motor, a new transducer holding panel and a new headband (made of Synthetic Protein), all of which are designed to be combined with the highest possible level of synergy and without forgetting , of course, the comfort and convenience that characterize MrSpeakers' productions. As far as the magnetic motor is concerned, it should be noted that it has been conceived around the exclusive “TrueFlow” technology of the American firm in such a way that, instead of designing the latter to fit the magnetic motor, we have proceeded to the the other way around, the result being a substantial improvement in terms of linearity, dynamics and level of detail. In addition, the Ether 2 is 90 grams lighter than its predecessor, the Ether, making it the lightest headphones in its class on the market.
