The Advance Paris A12 Classic represents a more robust evolution of the acclaimed A10 Classic, fusing the warmth of vacuum tubes in the preamp section with a dynamic power amplifier for powerful and reliable reproduction.
With the launch of our new A12 Classic, we aim to deliver an audiophile integrated amplifier inspired by the renowned X-i1100, praised for its captivating musicality and dynamism. The A12 Classic combines an ECC81/12AT7 tube preamp with a 2x270W Class AB push-pull amplifier, fusing the best of both worlds in a classic yet timeless design.
Modernity is integrated with a microprocessor that manages all functions through a central encoder, allowing quick and easy access to the various settings with simple keystrokes. An original feature is the activation of two HDMI inputs in the system setup menu, one for connecting a DVD player to take advantage of the A12 Classic's audio quality, and one HDMI ARC for connecting a CEC-compatible display.
The A12 Classic offers a wide range of customisation options, including speaker selection, tone settings, automatic standby activation, subwoofer connections and separate output modulation at the preamp or amplifier. In addition, there is a Rec Out output for external recorders.
At the rear, the High Bias switch activates Class A biasing in the first few watts of the power amplifier, which further boosts its performance. The A12 Classic impresses with its versatility and sound quality, even surpassing more ambitious and expensive models.
