The latest iteration of a Pro-Ject classic, the MaiA DS3 is a stereo integrated amplifier featuring a total of nine inputs, including a moving-magnet (MM) and moving-coil (MC) capsule-compatible phono input, four digital inputs (one coaxial, two optical and one USB) to allow the user to fully exploit its DAC functionality, and an aptX HD Bluetooth 5.0-compatible Bluetooth 5.0 input. Even more interesting for audiophiles is the improvement in the power amplifier section, which thanks to a dual monophonic circuit topology using audiophile-grade components and very low noise floor delivers 80 watts continuous per channel into 8 ohms or 140 watts continuous per channel into 4 ohms, both figures that ensure uncompromising compatibility with a very wide range of loudspeakers. Pro-Ject's new integrated amplifier also includes a dedicated subwoofer output, a 12V continuous trigger signal input/output and a high-power headphone output - 230x430 mW into 32 ohms - for 6.3 mm jacks, as well as a set of fixed-level and variable-level Line outputs in case you want to sound out other rooms.
