Class A tube preamp

Lab12 Pre1 has exactly the same goal as all of our products: to achieve a warm, musical and above all realistic sound that remains enjoyable even after many hours of listening. We managed to give Pre-1 a high class performance, much higher than its price range. The Lab12 Pre1 is a great option for pairing with a tube or solid-state power amp. Either way, Pre 1 will give you this familiar, warm, friendly, analytical LAB12 sound.

Internally, we use a pair of E88CC tubes in a special configuration and a solid state power supply with 4 stages of regulation, which offer intelligent filtering and more than enough capacity. The dual mono philosophy and Fine Symmetry® exist in every stage of the internal circuitry, and of course we also use the SRSG® topology in this rig. Selected special parts such as MKP audio quality capacitors and resistors with a precision of 0.1%, also contribute to the production of the final detailed sound and wider resolution.

The Lab12 Pre1 offers five analog inputs and two preamp outputs, so you can easily drive a bi-amp system or a powered subwoofer and power amp without a problem. Input selection can be done via the rotary switch on the front or by remote control.

The Lab12 Pre1 can be purchased in our standard matte black or pearl white colors but can also be available in a custom color of your choice.
