The Cyrus Pre-XR is the flagship preamplifier of the XR series, meticulously engineered to deliver absolute control and purity across any high-end audio system. High-Performance Power Supply
At its core lies an oversized 74 VA transformer and 15 independent regulation stages, ensuring total electrical isolation between analog and digital sections. For even higher performance, the PSU-XR external power supply can be connected to deliver additional regulated power to critical sections of the circuit.
Transparent Analog Stage
The Pre-XR features a newly developed analog preamp section with relay-based input switching and a high-gain design. It includes 4 RCA line inputs and a low-noise MM phono input, along with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs, making it the perfect match for high-end power amplifiers.
Advanced Digital Conversion
Integrated within is the second-generation QXR2 DAC, capable of decoding PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD up to DSD512 via USB. The digital section includes 2 coaxial, 2 optical, and 1 asynchronous USB-B input, along with seven selectable digital filters for tailoring the sound signature.
Intuitive Control and Configuration
A tree-structured menu with intuitive navigation allows users to fine-tune every setting via the included remote or touch-sensitive front panel controls, adapting perfectly to any listening environment or user preference.
