Additionally, the PowerQuest PQ-3 features a slim profile and a sturdy floor-mount bracket that makes it ideal for mounting behind speakers. Power cords connect directly to the top layer AC outlets, making installation easy. For those who prefer rack mounting, the bottom vertical bracket can be easily removed, allowing access to two rows of AC outlets (eight total). Compared to similarly priced devices, PowerQuest filters remove much more noise and distortion, dramatically improving the performance of connected devices.

Unlike traditional surge protectors, PowerQuest's non-sacrificial surge protection prevents both high voltage and current from causing damage, and ensures that the PowerQuest unit does not fail over time.

Both units have slim profiles designed to fit into tight spaces and can be oriented vertically or horizontally in cabinets or racks, or even hung on walls. Additionally, both units feature a directionally optimized concentric geometry power cord (2.1 meter length). Sending truly clean power to audio / video systems has never been so simple, convenient, or affordable.

EXTREME VOLTAGE SHUTDOWN 240 VAC:

It will activate the main power circuit relay to open in less than 0.25 seconds; it resets automatically once incoming power is within a safe range.

NON-SACRIFICATING OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTION

There is nothing to harm with repeated 6000V / 3000A input overvoltage tests, which is the maximum that a building's electrical panel and AC electrical distribution box can survive.

ULTRA LINEAR FILTERS

Differential mode noise dissipation: more than 22 dB reduction from 30 kHz to 1 GHz; Common Mode Noise Dissipation: More than 22dB reduction from 30kHz-100MHz. Both filters are linearized for dynamic line impedance (upstream) with a frequency of 0.05 ohms (source) and a load of 10 to 50 ohms (dependent on system current).
