32-bit ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M DAC
At the heart of the 40 CD lies the advanced ESS ES9039Q2M DAC, capable of revealing the finest sonic details with exceptional transparency. This same DAC, also found in the 40 ST streamer, represents the pinnacle of digital-to-analog performance in the Cyrus lineup.

The 40 CD features a dual power supply design, fully isolating digital, analog, and control circuits.
