The Cyrus CDt-XR is a reference-grade CD transport designed for high-end digital audio systems. Positioned above the previous CDi and CDt models, the CDt-XR delivers significant improvements in clarity, noise reduction, and signal precision thanks to its advanced Servo Evolution system and a completely re-engineered power supply design.
Precision CD Transport with Servo Evolution
Developed entirely in-house by Cyrus, the disc transport mechanism is optimized to minimize read errors and reduce electromechanical noise. The Servo Evolution technology lowers the need for error correction by 20%, resulting in a cleaner, more stable digital signal—ideal for use with high-resolution DACs.
High-Precision Digital Clocking
To preserve digital signal integrity, the CDt-XR features a dedicated reclocking stage just before the output, greatly enhancing performance when connected to high-end DACs, such as those in the XR series.
Advanced Power Supply Design
Segmented power supplies and a “quiet-to-noisy” circuit topology reduce interference and maintain cleaner energy flow. This results in greater stability and improved overall sonic performance.
