Using Cocobolo for the first time in a full-size housing, this Grado has one of the richest sounds we've ever produced.
The cocobolo is found in Central America, and like the music there, it is full of texture and emotion. What was discovered using this wood in the GH2 and in the flagship phono cartridge siblings, the Epoch and Aeon, has been brought into the Statement Series process for the first time. This is the most complete Cocobolo body we have ever built, and the GS3000e is the perfect solution for it.
As the first Statement Series headphones to use Cocobolo, we've carefully tuned our 50mm drivers to not only take advantage of the larger soundstage, but also to embrace the deep, punchy musical character of this unique wood. Cocobolo remains one of the family's favorite woods to work with.
