In GRADO's relentless quest to experiment with all types of woods and materials, they have opted for hemp on this occasion. The Brooklynites weren't sure what headphones they'd get but were soon surprised at how quickly these became a factory favorite. "To be frank, it is one of the best-sounding Limited Editions we have created," they say from the brand.

The Hemp Headphone's GRADO drivers are specifically tuned for material Brooklyn has never worked with before.

Hemp takes center stage but The Hemp Headphone is all about teamwork. GRADO has used maple wood in the shell alongside hemp to improve sound balance and bring out the well-known acoustic properties of wood. Adding maple gave them leeway, but only through trial and error were they able to make the hemp quirks shine through.

The last seven decades have been enough time for GRADO to perfect its sound, letting its headphones reveal new notes and details even in songs the user has listened to hundreds of times. The Hemp Headphone is a slow burn, getting better and better with every listen.
