ISOACOUSTICS Aperta SUB
With a sculpted aluminum frame and patented IsoAcoustics integrated isolators, Aperta Sub introduces a new standard in acoustic isolation for subwoofers. The Aperta Sub decouples the subwoofers from the support surface to prevent the physical transfer of energy that excites the support surface, causes noise in the room and disturbs the neighbours. The patented IsoAcoustics isolation also prevents vibrations from the subwoofer from being reflected off the supporting surface and conducted back into the subwoofer cabinet. Managing these reflections removes the smear of muddy bass and reveals greater clarity and definition.
Low profile, innovative shape
The Aperta Sub is a low-profile 10.5″ (265mm) wide x 11.5″ (290mm) deep x 1.3″ (33mm) high design and is designed for use with subwoofers of front and side shot weighing up to 80 pounds (36.3 kg). The innovative shape allows the Aperta Sub to be placed directly under the subwoofer cabinet without interfering with the existing subwoofer feet.
Carpet pads are included with the Aperta Sub for use on carpeted surfaces. The mat discs provide a strong connection through the mat to provide a solid foundation for the Aperta Sub.
More bass, less rattle
We're programmed to pick up bass beats more than other tones, and the low frequencies allow the listener to feel a deep syncopated connection to their favorite music or movies.
With a large driver that produces low frequencies, the subwoofer generates a large amount of power that can excite the supporting surface, interfere with other audio components, and annoy the neighbors.
The Aperta Sub provides a high degree of isolation and cleans up muddy low-frequency sound, resulting in a tighter bass response and greater clarity. The unique patented isolators are directional and designed to be positioned with the logo facing forward to resist lateral deflection and wobbles for greater accuracy and focus.
